Derval Gibney-Sheridan has achieved a merit based grant to attend the Change the World Model United Nations Conference in New York City for a week in April. Derval took the initiative to apply and had to attend an interview to determine whether she was a suitable candidate which then had to be approved by the board of management. This is a fantastic opportunity which takes place in the United Nations headquarters. It was regarded as “the most prestigious youth forum in the world” by the UN, has experts in their respective fields deliver speeches: which previously included Bill Clinton and is the largest and most internationally focused model UN in the world!
