A very educational and enjoyable day was had by 5th Year Biology students on Tuesday on their trip to Fota Wildlife Park. The students were busy carrying out many Leaving Certificate ecological experiments in the woodland along with a very informative ecological presentation with plenty sightings of the wonderful wildlife in the park.
BCS is an amalgamation of Lismore CBS, Presentation Convent Lismore and St Anne’s Secondary School, Cappoquin. It was opened in September 2003 with a student population of 400 students. Since then, there has been significant extension of the school buildings and facilities to cater for our increased enrolment. There are currently 951 students in BCS and our new, state of the art, education campus will be completed for the 2024/2025 school year.
