County, Munster & All-Ireland competitions are run in the following age-groups & divisions:
Competition format: 4 singles & 2 doubles
The Waterford county competition is usually held in November in Blackwater Community School. All school teams are entered into this competition. Teams that win Division 1 in the county competition qualify for the Munster competitions held in the University of Limerick in January. Teams may then qualify for the All-Ireland finals held in Gormanstown in March.
Training takes place in the school PE hall one evening per week (Tuesday) from 3:45pm -4:45pm.
Training is open to all boys and girls, from beginners to club players.
Players are encouraged to play with their local clubs.
Division 1 & 2 players need to be a member of a club to play at this standard.
