We share with Cappoquin Rowing Club in wishing the best of luck to Bill Murphy, who has been selected to row for Ireland at the upcoming World U19 Rowing Championships.
Bill follows in the footsteps of Michael McGrath, who competed in last year’s World U19 Championships in St. Catharines, Canada. Michael’s crew placed an incredible 4th in the A Final of the Men’s Coxless Quad – the highest achievement by a Cappoquin athlete to date!
The 2025 World Rowing Under-19 Championships will run from the 6th to the 10th of August in Trakai, Lithuania.
Bill’s first race in the Coxless Men’s Quad is scheduled for Thursday, 7th August at approximately 11:32 am.
