
Sarah Carey submitted a resolution on behalf of Malta on the question of immigration , social integration and the national sovereignty debate. Her resolution was to set up support groups and housing groups for refugees and the immigrants who have moved to Malta and to build refugee specific and appropriate housing. Sarah received her ten signatures from delegates of different countries and her resolution has now been submitted.
Millie Mae O’ Donovan and Emma Cronin took part in the special conference and created an African Allegiance with 40 countries , multiple NGO’s and NATO. Millie Mai was voted as leader of this allegiance by her fellow delegates. Alannah Martin submitted a resolution on the question of tackling government corruption on behalf of Switzerland. All of our members lobbied very well and established strong connections with fellow delegates. A strong start to the week at Cork City Hall. The conference will continue until Friday.
