And finally our VIP, Jimmy O’Gorman! After the presentation, Jimmy’s work was celebrated with friends, family and colleagues. We are honoured to have our primary school blitz cup named after Jimmy, who has contributed so much to the GAA at local, county, provincial and national levels
BCS is an amalgamation of Lismore CBS, Presentation Convent Lismore and St Anne’s Secondary School, Cappoquin. It was opened in September 2003 with a student population of 400 students. Since then, there has been significant extension of the school buildings and facilities to cater for our increased enrolment. There are currently 951 students in BCS and our new, state of the art, education campus will be completed for the 2024/2025 school year.
