October 10th is World Mental Health Day. All students are encouraged to wear a colour that makes them happy to school with their PE uniform. €2 will be collected at tutor meeting that morning. All money raised will go to this year’s chosen charities – The Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
BCS is an amalgamation of Lismore CBS, Presentation Convent Lismore and St Anne’s Secondary School, Cappoquin. It was opened in September 2003 with a student population of 400 students. Since then, there has been significant extension of the school buildings and facilities to cater for our increased enrolment. There are currently 951 students in BCS and our new, state of the art, education campus will be completed for the 2024/2025 school year.
