6th year Agriculture and Horticulture and 5th Agricultural Science students enjoyed a trip to the Macroom Buffalo Farm. They got to experience the difference between Buffalo milk production and traditional dairy production in Ireland. Students also got to observe the cheese production process and sampled the various products produced on the farm.
BCS is an amalgamation of Lismore CBS, Presentation Convent Lismore and St Anne’s Secondary School, Cappoquin. It was opened in September 2003 with a student population of 400 students. Since then, there has been significant extension of the school buildings and facilities to cater for our increased enrolment. There are currently 951 students in BCS and our new, state of the art, education campus will be completed for the 2024/2025 school year.
